The Vice Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed has given reason for his acceptance as running mate to Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Party for the 2023 elections.
Speaking during the official unveiling, Baba-Ahmed said he accepted the position because he believed in Obi’s capacity to make Nigeria live up to its billing.
The Vice Presidential Candidate added that Obi would not mismanage the nation’s wealth considering his credence as former Governor of Anambra State.
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has announced his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed. Obi, who made the announcement during an event on Friday in Abuja, said the unveiling signals his resolve in the journey to take back Nigeria. Baba-Ahmed was a former lawmaker who represented Kaduna North Senatorial District in the Senate.
