Kogi Police Presents Cheques to Families of Deceased Officers

The Kogi State Police Command has presented cheques worth N9.8million to families of 14 Police Officers who died in active service

State Commissioner of Police, Edward Egbuka, who presented the cheques to the families, said the gesture was part of family welfare insurance aimed at improving the welfare of the families of the deceased Police Officers.

Egbuka, while appreciating the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, for assisting in reducing the hardship faced by the families of the deceased Officers, urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money for the betterment of their families.
