The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has berated the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan, for suing the State House of Assembly to stop the impeachment move against him.

State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Akeem Olatunji, who disclosed this in a statement, noted that Olaniyan’s move to use the court to stop the lawmakers from removing him from office after they had allegedly found him guilty of some offences violated the spirit of the Yoruba tenet.

It, however, praised the State House over its directive to the State Chief Judge, Munta Abimbola, to constitute a seven-man panel to investigate the allegations leveled against the Deputy Governor.
