Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said that Governor David Umahi remains its Candidate for Ebonyi South Senatorial District.
The State Party Chairman, Stanley Okoro-Emegha, stated this in an interactive session with newsmen in Abakaliki, the State Capital.
Okoro-Emegha said Umahi’s absence in the list of Senatorial Candidates for the 2023 general elections was a minor error from the Independent National Electoral Commission which has been corrected.
He stressed that the Governor won a duly re-conducted Primary election for the Constituency.
Watford has cancelled a friendly against Qatar national side over concerns about human rights.
