Yobe State Government has declared three work-free days to enable Civil Servants participate in the Continuous Voters’ Registration exercise, CVR.
The declaration was contained in a circular signed by the State Head of Service, Bilal Garba.
The circular declared that from 29th June to 1st July, 2022 are work free days.
It tasked all essential service providers in the State to remain at alert.
Kaduna State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has bemoaned the rate of killing in the State. A statement signed by the State CAN Chairman, John Hayab, expressed disappointment over the government’s negligence towards security issues in the State. The statement noted that the rate at which they have turned on the Church in the State and Nigeria was alarming.
