Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated the Governor-elect, Biodun Oyenbanji over his victory in the Ekiti State Governorship election.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, Abiodun commended the people of Ekiti State for choosing to continue the good governance in the State under the ruling Party.
The statement urged Oyenbanji to be magnanimous in victory and to ensure continued good governance in the State.
Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has called on fathers to treat their wives and children with honour and dignity to build successful families in the Society. Diri, who was represented by his Deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, made the call on Sunday during this year’s Father’s Day celebrations held at the Government House Chapel, Yenagoa, the State Capital. The Governor, however, wished all fathers divine protection and good health.
