Blackburn Rovers appoints Tomasson as manager

Blackburn Rovers have appointed Jon Tomasson as manager on a three-year deal.
Tomasson succeeds Tony Mowbray, who left the Championship club after five years when his contract expired in May.
The ex-Denmark forward joins Rovers having won two consecutive league titles with Swedish club Malmo FF.
