Imo State Government has debunked the news making the rounds that the state Governor, Hope Uzodiinma, is down with stroke and was flown to India for medical attention.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, stated that the news of Uzodinma’s ailment was being peddled by the enemies of the state.
Emelumba noted that Uzodinma was hale and hearty, and is currently in Abuja partaking in the activities leading to the forthcoming presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The commissioner urged the people of the state to disregard this fabrication from criminal elements seeking attention over nothing.
The English Premier League and UEFA Champions League have reacted as Paul Pogba leaves Manchester United. Pogba’s contract with Man United will expire at the end of this month. Man United had earlier confirmed that Pogba would leave the club this month when his contract expires. Meanwhile, Pogba has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Juventus in the past few days.
