Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has directed all Political Appointees contesting the 2023 general election to resign their appointments.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Oluwole Oyebamiji.
The statement noted that the concerned appointees must comply with the instruction with immediate effect.
It added that the directive is line with Sections 84 (12) and 29(1) of the Electoral Acts 2022.
Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the resumption date for all Public and Private Schools in the state. A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Rose Bassey, revealed that all schools are to resume on April 25, 2022. The statement advised Parents and guardians to ensure that their wards return to school on the resumption date. It wished all pupils, students and teachers a successful academic session.
