Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has urged Nigerians to redirect their trust and hope for a greater country.
In his Easter message, Akeredolu said despite the various challenges facing the country, the hope and trust are the seeds needed to surmount the obstacles.
He stressed the need for the state and the country at large to reflect on the essence of the season by showing love, forgiveness and compassion to one another.
The governor assured residents of adequate security of lives and property all through the Easter celebration.
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has enjoined Christians to emulate the virtues of tolerance, love and selflessness in commemoration of Easter. Obaseki gave the charge in a message to mark Good Friday. He urged everyone to use the opportunity to reflect on the significance of this day, which embodies Christ’s love for mankind.
