The University Of Agriculture And Environmental Sciences, UAES,Umuagwo, Imo State, on Wednesday, held its maiden matriculation ceremony for its pioneer students .
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Governor, Placid Njoku notes that the institution intends to produce agropreneurs.
Also speaking,the Vice Chancellor, Patrick Egbule, gives an insight on the challenge of funding the university.
He also encouraged students to be hardworking.
World number one Novak Djokovic lost to Alejandro Fokina at the Monte Carlo Masters. Djokovic was playing in his first tournament since February after missing the US hard court swing. Fokina won 6-3 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 to reach the third round.
