The Imo State chapter of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) hosted a transformative seminar on Wednesday the 6th of October 2024.

The conference chaired by Ajuruchi Anthony at the NEPC Conference Hall in Owerri focused on optimizing logistics and freight for global trade.

The seminar brought together logistics experts, freight operators, and local businesses to discuss practical strategies to strengthen Nigeria’s global trade position as Ajuruchi emphasized the importance of efficient logistics in overcoming trade barriers and maximizing export potential.

Speaking at the event, Mercy noted that with proper logistics and streamlined freight management, Nigerian products can more easily reach international markets, boosting the country’s economic profile.

Mercy, one of the participants, explored key topics, including cost-effective shipping methods, cutting-edge technology in logistics, and regulatory compliance for international trade as well as current challenges faced by exporters, particularly those from Imo State.

He encouraged collaborative efforts to create more competitive and resilient supply chains.
