Otti orders Abia State University campus Umuahia relocated back to Uturu

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has directed the immediate relocation of Umuahia campus of Abia State University back to the Uturu main campus of the institution.

The State’s Commissioner for Information, Okey Kanu disclosed this to journalists at Government House Umuahia while updating them on the outcome of the week’s executive council meeting presided over by Governor Otti.

According to the commissioner, it is part of the recommendations of the Visitation Panel as stated in their reports.

According to the state government, there is need for consolidated campuses in one particular location to enhance the studies of the university students.
