Israel’s military operations in northern Gaza, now in their 24th day, have led to over 1,000 fatalities, primarily among women and children, according to health officials.

Israeli airstrikes targeted the Raml neighborhood in Tyre, Lebanon, resulting in five deaths and ten injuries, as reported by foreign news agencies, and on Sunday, Israeli forces killed at least 53 people in Gaza and 21 in Lebanon.

In response to the rising casualties, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed alarm over the escalating violence and destruction in northern Gaza.

Since the conflict erupted on October 7, 2023, Israeli strikes have resulted in more than 42,900 deaths and 100,800 injuries in Gaza.
