Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has stated that leadership deficit in the world, especially in Africa and particularly in Nigeria, is responsible for the situation the country has found itself in.

Obasanjo accused an unnamed Nigerian president of coming to office without a plan, stressing that he made a pronouncement on an issue that hadn’t been studied, while arguing that it shows a lack of leadership quality.

The former President, who spoke on Thursday in an exclusive interview with journalists stressed that leadership is something Nigeria should pay attention to.
