AI makes Nigerian economic growth possible, according to Tijnni

The Nigerian government has revealed that it is now focused on a policy that would drive economic prosperity through the adoption and deployment of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, disclosed this on Monday at a one-day AI stakeholder meeting in Abuja.

He noted that if the private sector can get it right in a matter of time, the adoption and deployment of AI will shape national lives, while also reiterating that the government is committed to effective policy direction that would facilitate AI adoption and deployment in Nigeria.
