Report states that some angry youths burnt to death a yet-to-be identified couple in Orogwe, Ohii axis in Owerri-west LGA of Imo state.
A community source who disclosed this to newsmen on Monday stated that the couple were known for parading around the community and neighbouring villages but not as thieves.
According to the source, the couple were caught on Monday while absconding with a stolen motorcycle after robbing a motorcyclist off his bike with a pistol.
He further narrated that the agreviated youths and community vigilante who have experienced bouts of motorcycle theft burnt them alive, refusing to hand them over to the police.
The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday, ordered the prison remand of 10 activists arrested in connection with the recent hunger protest in the country.
