Aja made the statement through his X account on Thursday, stating that, having read through the requirements for duty-free imports, he would maintain that this administration is not serious about dropping food prices with the speed it deserves.
The financial expert who noted that food inflation is a national crisis and an emergency, lamented that the government is creating a massive bureaucracy over the situation.
He accused the Nigerian Customs Services of being too bureaucratic and does not understand business while also questioning the duties of the coordinating Minister of the Economy.
