Abia gov evacuates residents over gully erosion

The Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has promised to take immediate action to tackle the gully erosion menace on Ovom Street, Aba.
He also stated that he had ordered the evacuation of those living around the erosion site, as the erosion had divided the road into two thereby leading to the collapse of many buildings in the area.
He emphasized the dangers of the situations highlighting that if not controlled immediately, will not only affect all the buildings but also the residents in the area.
He promised a resolution as he declared involving the Greater Aba Development Agency in the situation.
