Owerri residents reacts to recent killings in Imo

Imo residents within Owerri metropolis has expressed their concerns on the level of insecurity being witnessed in Owerri the state capital.
Recall that unidentified gunmen killed 4 policemen and a civilian at Irete in Owerri West LGA, on Monday. Another killing of a policeman and a civilian was recorded at Mbaitolu LGA, as well as a robbery case at Orji in Owerri North LGA, which led to the death of the shop owner identified as Wealth Empire, all on Tuesday this week.
An Owerri resident who pleaded anonymous, blamed the security personnel for not arresting the situation before hand while also calling on the masses to help the security agencies by providing vital information

Another resident simply identified as Precious, expressed fears that the killings are so alarming while calling on the state government to take proactive measures to curtail the situation
