The Organised Private Sector of Nigeria, including the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, and others have expressed their views on the upcoming nationwide protest planned in response to the rising hardship and inflation in the country.
In a statement released to the press, these organizations emphasized the importance of dialogue and constructive engagement between the government and citizens, highlighting the necessity for peaceful and orderly conduct during the protest.
They stressed that such an approach would allow citizens to voice their concerns without disrupting lawful activities or infringing on the rights of others.
As key contributors to economic growth and job creation, the Organised Private Sector cautioned that disruptions to business operations could have significant negative effects on the economy and the livelihoods of many Nigerians.
