Ex-Minister, Ezekwesili tables two demands to Nigerian Govt

The former Nigerian Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has urged the government to refrain from threatening
citizens planning a nationwide protest from August 1 to August 10, 2024.
The protest, tagged #EndBadGovernance, addresses issues of widespread hunger and inflation.
Ezekwesili on her X, on Thursday, emphasized that protesters should be protected by security agencies and encouraged by leaders to engage with the dissatisfied youth civilly.
She also highlighted the importance of listening to citizens’ concerns and learning from past mistakes, like the mishandling of the #EndSARS protests.
