The Israeli army has launched an attack on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) headquarters in Gaza City, claiming the facility are houses for combat equipment and detention rooms used by Hamas, citing this as justification for the assault.
Meanwhile, residents in the eastern parts of Gaza City are being forced to evacuate as the Israeli military expands its immediate evacuation orders, and the affected areas now include the neighborhoods of Tuffah, Daraj, and the Old City, intensifying the humanitarian crisis in the already war-torn region.
In related news, the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has taken a firm stance on negotiations with Hamas, stating that Israel will only agree to a deal if the group meets Israel’s conditions.
Additionally, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has emphasized that Israel’s military operations against Lebanon’s Hezbollah will continue, even if a truce agreement is reached in Gaza.
