Newly inaugurated Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Stanley Nkwoka, has declared a state of emergency on waste management in the Council Area, Nkwoka made the declaration while addressing a press conference shortly after meeting with relevant stakeholders from the local government at the Council Secretariat Ogidi, on Thursday to start his three months administrative tenure in office.
The TC Chairman noted that his personal intervention will continue until a change in attitude is seen among residents in the area because he is determined to personally lead the campaign for the complete evacuation of refuse in public places.
