Gov Nwifuru constitutes 5-man investigative committee

The Ebonyi State government has constituted a five-man committee to look into the remote and immediate cause of the collapse of a three-storey building under construction located at Plot 32, Udensi Nnodo Housing Estate, in Abakaliki.
A three-storey building under construction had on Tuesday night collapsed at about 8:30 pm, which left two persons critically injured.
The committee headed by Enyinnaya Eni, is expected to come up with suggestions and solutions to forestall future occurrences of building collapse in the state.
Inaugurating the committee on Thursday, Governor Nwifuru, represented by the Commissioner for Capital City and Urban Development, Sunday Inyima, warned against sabotaging the work and challenged members to be sincere and diligent in carrying out the given assignment.
