Police Deploys Personnel To Stop Labour Strike In Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has deployed operatives across strategic locations to prevent any attempts to enforce the strike declared by the Nigeria Labour Congress.
This action came after the Federal Government declared the planned strike illegal and premature.
Tochukwu Ikenga, Spokesperson for the police command, in a statement, emphasized the command’s commitment to enforcing the government’s stance against the strike, whilst acknowledging the rights of organized labor
Law enforcement agents in the state have been tasked with maintaining public safety and peace and preventing any miscreants from causing a breach during the strike enforcement.
