Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the November 11, 2023 election in Imo State, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, has urged the people of the state to remain calm as the electoral tribunal delivers judgement.
Anyanwu, who doubles as the National Secretary of the PDP, made this statement on Thursday while enjoining Imolites to be prayerful in view of the coming judgement, assuring that his party is prepared to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state should the court restore its stolen mandate.
According to him, he genuinely secured the highest votes in the election, adding that what he is only seeking for is for the tribunal to declare him winner of the election, which he clearly won.
He appealed to party members and Imo people in general to be law abiding by shunning acts of violence.
