ASUU has warned FG that its members are running out of patience.

Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) said it has run out of patience with federal government over its management of public universities in Nigeria.
Following an interaction with news men during a protest in Bauchi , the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) chapter of the union warned the government not to allow another strike in the university system due to unmet demands.
The chapter’s vice chairperson Mohammed Mohammed, noted with concern that the federal government and the union have been in negotiations for almost 15 years with no solution in sight.
Mohahmed said the union’s demands is for the federal government to adhere and include payment of its members’ earned academic allowances and other demands which include the release of members’ withheld salaries and the payment of their promotion arrears.
