The wife of Terwase Orbunde, former Chief of Staff to former Governor Samuel Ortom, Abigail Orbunde, and her maid Patience Ogute have regained their freedom.
Recall that armed men suspected of being herders last Friday attacked Orbunde, his wife, and maid at his farm along Mobile Barracks-Welfare Quarters Road in the outskirts of Makurdi.
The marauders who shot the former CoS in the arm whisked his wife and maid away, after which a demand of N100 million ransom was made for their release.
The release of the duo was contained in a statement on the verified social media handle of a close associate of the family.
