Tinubu rebuilding economy Buhari destroyed

President Bola Tinubu, has said his administration was keen to make Nigeria self-sufficient in food production and become a net exporter of agricultural products through what he called aggressive mechanisation.
He affirmed his administration’s support to give ease and succour to the 2024 Hajj pilgrims.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday, Tinubu emphasised the importance of spiritual endeavours in nation-building, vowing to support religious activities.
He added that Nigeria will become a net exporter of food through aggressive mechanisation, Tinubu told a delegate from the Global Tijaniyya Movement, led by Khalifa Muhammad Mahe Niass, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He also outlined plans to bolster agricultural productivity through various initiatives, including the expansion of farmlands, the provision of low-interest loans to farmers, and significant investments in irrigation infrastructure.
