Adeleke Direct Officials to Wear Adire Every Wednesday

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has directed all state public officials to start wearing the Adire Osun attire every Wednesday.

This was made known in a communique issued by the state’s Head of Service, Ayanleye Aina and signed by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed on Thursday.

It was disclosed in the statement that, the directive aims to boost the industry and enhance the cultural strengths of the state.

It added that Adeleke had presented the subject at the last SEC meeting with unanimous approval and adoption, while noting, that adire actually has its source from Osun state.
