Guinea Bissau have regained top spot in Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series.

This comes after their 1-0 victory over Sao Tome & Principe on Wednesday in the Lusophone derby.

The win moves them to the summit of the table with 10 points after five games with a one-point lead over the Super Eagles.

Chelsea Rejects £40 million Bid for Mount

Chelsea has rejected the £40 million bid from Manchester United for midfielder Mason Mount. It is reported that the Blues are holding out for a significantly higher fee for the England international. Man United have been long-time admirers of Mount with the 20-year-old also favouring a move to the Old Trafford side. United would however have to step up their bid to meet Chelsea’s financial demands for the player.
