The Kwara Government on Monday directed that work days be reduced from five days to three days per week for every worker in the state.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Murtala Atoyebi.
This according to the government is following the astronomical hike in transport fares.
Not less than 37 persons has been killed by bandits in communities around Tangaza, Sokoto state for allegedly not paying levies they imposed on the communities. A survivor in one of the communities disclosed this newsmen on phone. He said that over 27 were already buried. The communities affected were Rakkah, Rakkah Dutse, Gwadabawa kwari among others.
