Former Labour and Productivity Minister is Dead

A former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Musa Gwadabe, is dead.

According to his daughter, Aisha Gwadabe, he father died this morning at the age of 86 at a Kano hospital after a prolonged illness.

She noted that funeral prayer of the late minister would hold today at his residence off Maiduguri road, in Kano.

He was a minister during Olusegun Obasanjo’s first tenure from 1999 to 2003, he was also Secretary to Kano State Government.

US Confirms Death of Second Citizen in Sudan

The US has revealed that a second American has died in Sudan. Confirming the death, White House national security spokesperson, John Kirby,  extended the country’s  condolences to the family. The UN health agency said, at least 459 people, including civilians and fighters, have been killed, and more than 4,000 wounded since fighting began. The Doctors’ Syndicate which tracks civilian casualties, revealed that 295 civilians were killed and 1,790 others injured.
