World Bank to Partner with NYSC on Youth Empowerment

The World Bank has expressed its readiness to partner with the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, on youth empowerment,m and skills development for corps members.
Lead Economist of the World Bank Youth Employment and Skills Development Team, Elena Glinskaya, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja

Glinskaya noted that the vocational training that corps members are being exposed to at the orientation camp has helped a large number of them to become self-reliant.

She added that the team was also interested in learning from NYSC’s vast knowledge and experience in youth empowerment.
