Ortom Lifts Ban on Motorcycles

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, has lifted the ban on motorcycles in the Sankera axis of the state.

A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur, said the lifting of the ban takes immediate effect.
The directive was in consonance with the judgment of the High Court of Justice, Gboko.

The court had set aside the order of the State Security Council, which banned the use of motorcycles in the Sankera axis of the state as a way of curtailing criminal acts in the area.
