Imo Government Declares Public Holiday for PVC Collection

Imo State government has declared public holidays to enable workers to collect their Permanent Voters’ Cards.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, announced Thursday, January 26 and Friday, January 27 public holiday,

Emelumba stated that the holiday affects mainly Imo workers in the Civil and Public Service, adding that those involved in essential services like the banks, electricity workers and others are not involved.
