Okupe Resigns as Labour Party Campaign DG

The Director General of Labour Party Campaign Organization, Doyin Okpue, has resigned from his position.

Okupe announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

This follows a ruling by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja that convicted him of violating the Money Laundering Act.

Nigeria Raises $547 million from 5G Auctions

The Federal Government says it has generated the sum of $547 million through 5G spectrum auctions so far this year. President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed this at the opening of the National Shared Services Centre, in Abuja. Buhari noted that Nigeria’s I.T. industry has contributed positively to the growth of the economy, with its 18.47% contribution to the country’s GDP.
