Buhari Warns Against Terrorism in Africa

President Muhammadu Buhari has warned that unconstitutional administration change, terrorism may undermine the ability of African states to achieve the Agenda 2063.

Buhari gave the warning at at the ongoing US-Africa Leaders Summit.

He noted that it is evident that these developments negatively impact national, regional and continental stability and undermine Africa’s drive towards achieving its flagship project ‘Silencing the Guns in Africa’.

The President, however, expressed hope that the threats will not trump the unity of purpose shared among member states.
