Gbajabiamila Calls for Maximization of Census

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has warned that failure to maximize the advantages of the changing population structure is dangerous.

Gbajabiamila gave the warning at the Parliamentary Summit on Fast-Tracking Nigeria’s Demographic Transition, organized by the National Population Commission.

He charged government at all levels to be deliberate in taking actions that would maximize Nigeria’s huge manpower.

The Speaker called for immediate and sustained actions to drive a demographic change that would make economic growth more attainable.
