Oyo Anti-corruption Agency Arrests Retired Civil Servants Over Fraud

Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency has arrested some serving and retired civil servants in the state over a fraudulent contract worth N4.8billion.

A statement issued by the Chairman of the Agency, Eni Esan said the fraud was perpetrated by the individuals at the State Road Maintenance Agency.

The statement revealed that the act involved the payment of the sum of N4.8billion to the three private companies without delivering the project.

It, however, reiterated the agency’s commitment to zero tolerance of corruption in the state public service.
