FG Assures Partnership with African Union on Free Movement Across Borders

The Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbosola has assured the African Union delegations of Nigeria’s readiness to partner with the Union to ensure the free movement of persons within ECOWAS countries.

Aregbosola, who gave the assurance when he played host to African delegations, urged the delegations to be rest assured that Nigeria is a partner in the realization of the protocol of free movement of persons across the sub region.

He noted that in furtherance to the realization of free movement across the sub region, the Nigerian government has introduced a visa-on-arrival policy to expedite movement.
