Delta State Police Command has arrested ten suspected gunrunners in Emuhu Community, Ika North-East Local Government Area of the State.
Confirming the arrest, the command’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, revealed that the arrest followed credible intelligence about the syndicate that specializes in manufacturing locally made guns.
Edafe noted that all the suspects are presently in custody while an investigation is ongoing.
Consequently, the team led by the Commander, Christopher Igbaji, raided the hideout in Emuhu Community, Ika North-East LGA, and 42 locally made single barrel guns, a toolbox containing fabricated materials working tools were recovered.
Students of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede have raised alarm over the increment of fees. Speaking with Boss Radio news, a HND1 student of Business administration and management department, Okafor Anurika reveals that acceptance fee has been increased. Okafor laments on how the increment has affected students and parents. Success Onuoha urges the school authorities to reduce the levies.
