Federal Government Orders NDDC to Action on Bad Road

Federal Government has directed the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC to urgently intervene over the bad state of Ahoada West-Mbiama axis of the East West road.

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Umana Umana, gave the charge during his visit to the area to ascertain the level of damage done by the flood.

Umana also directed the NDDC to ensure the provision of relief materials to flood victims in affected local government areas.

He therefore has directed agencies to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to arrest the situation.
