Awa Community Urges Government to Provide Relief Materials to Flood Victims

Awa Ancient Kingdom in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State has called on both the federal and state governments to extend relief package for flood victims in the autonomous community.

The traditional ruler of the Community, Ihezie Ononuju made the call in his address during the 2022 new yam festival of the community.

Ononuju revealed that flood ravaged farmlands in the area and destroyed farm crops worth millions of naira.
