FG Reacts to Attack of Nigerians in India

The Federal government has reacted to the trending footage of an attack on Nigerian students in India.

Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa revealed that the incident occurred last Saturday after a disagreement during a football match between African and Indian students.

Dabiri-Erewa noted that there’s a written commitment by the Indian authorities to guarantee protection of Nigeria students.

She, therefore, urged students feeling threatened to report to the Nigerian mission in Delhi immediately.
