Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has reconstituted the state’s waste management task force.
Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun, urged members of the newly reconstituted task force to hit the ground running.
Adeosun charged members of the body to discharge their duties with absolute dedication to the state.
The task force is to ensure that the necessary environmental laws in the state are obeyed.
Abiodun Oyebanji has been sworn in as the new governor of Ekiti State. Oyebanji was sworn in by the Chief Judge of the State, Oyewole Adeyeye, on Sunday. The Governor pledged to preserve, protect, defend and preserve the office as governor. He took over from Governor Kayode Fayemi, who doubled as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.
