World Marks International Day of the Girl Child

As the world marks International Day of a Girl Child today, some well meaning Nigerians have called on the government to uphold and implement the rights of the girl child.

In an interview with Boss Radio News, the chairperson for International Federation of Female Lawyers, FIDA, Ndidi Anike speaks on the theme “Our Time is Now- Our Rights, Our future”.

Speaking further, Anike says the celebration creates awareness on the right of the girl child.

A Social commentator, Nma Olebra, highlights some challenges of a girl child.

NEMA Assures Flood Victims of Relief Materials

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Imo State chapter, has revealed efforts made so far in curbing flooding in the state. State Head of Operation, Ifeanyi Nnaji, made this known in a Telephone interview with Boss Radio News on Tuesday. Also speaking, Nnaji reveals that relief materials have been approved for victims.
