Reps Submit Report on ASUU Strike

President Muhammadu Buhari has met behind closed doors with the leadership of the House of Representatives over the ongoing strike by the Academic staff union of universities, ASUU.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, who led officials of the Lower Chamber into the meeting, described the engagement with the president as very fruitful.

He revealed that the president had pledged to look into the recommendations aimed at resolving the ongoing strike embarked upon by the university lecturers over eight months ago.
