The National Universities Commission, NUC, has ordered vice-chancellors to re-open schools and allow students resume lectures.
The Commission’s Director of Finance and Accounts, Sam Onazi, gave the directive in a letter issued on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the commission, Abubakar Rasheed.
The letter urged members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to commence lectures and restore daily activities of various University campuses.
Watford has named Slaven Bilic as their new boss on an 18-month deal. Bilic had been out of management since leaving Chinese club Beijing Guoan. His contract was cancelled by mutual consent in January, after a year in charge, because he wanted to return to his family in Europe. This comes after Watford sacked Rob Edwards just 11 games into his tenure.
